Boat Rentals in Pompano Beach, FL

Photo of a Sunrise in Pompano Beach from a Boat Rental's POV.Let’s start with a common question: “Where can I find a boat rental in Pompano Beach?” Well, the city boasts three reputable rental outlets: South Florida Boat Rental, Atlantic Boat and Jet Ski Rentals, and Best Boat Club. Each option provides instant access to South Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway. They are all located at Sands Harbor Marina, just a short walk from all of our Pompano Beach cottages and condos. Prices are comparable at all three businesses, although Best Boat Club provides the most affordable rates. A full day at sea via a self-guided, eight-hour trip, starts at $469. Half days are also available. We’ve had a stellar relationship with the folks at Atlantic Boat and Jet Ski Rentals, so we don’t hesitate to steer guests to its Atlantic Boulevard locale. Lastly, South Florida Boat Rentals’ reputation is spectacular and features the most diverse selection of boats.

Countless Aquatic Adventures

Pro tip: If you plan to spend two to four hours on the water, we recommend staying in the Intracoastal Waterway to laze, fish, picnic, and perhaps even watch the sunset. A full-day trip typically pairs well with a voyage into the Atlantic Ocean if the seas are calm, where whopper fish, curious dolphins, and underwater scuba treasures await.

From the boat rental locations, it’s about a 15-minute trip North on the Intracoastal Waterway to Hillsboro Inlet and out into the ocean. A long trail of convenient buoys follows the reefs and makes it convenient to tie up rather than put down an anchor that could damage the reefs. There, boaters can start fishing immediately, or snorkel, swim, or sunbathe and just relax. Many families dock at Cap’s Place for some daily fresh seafood or motor past the Historic Hillsboro Lighthouse before returning to land.
