(7-21-18) Come out to the beach Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for yoga on the Great Lawn (foot of Atlantic Blvd). It's free, but donations are welcome! And then enjoy a cool beverage at the concession stand, or take a yellow bicycle from the nearby stand using your credit card. Don't forget the free splash fountain for your little ones!
(7-21/18) Pompano Water Taxi service began in December, 2017 with two boats and eleven stops along the Intracoastal Waterway, with connecting service to Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi. Look for the Water Taxi archway at each stop near restaurants, parks and beaches. Pompano tickets for a "hop-on hop-off" all day adult pass is just $22.
(7-21-18) There’s always a FREE early evening family-friendly festival each Friday: 1st Friday of each month 6-10pm: Pompano Untapped in Old Town with free samples from our many craft breweries, live band and local artist booths. (NE corner of Atlantic Blvd and Dixie Hwy). 2nd Friday: Music Under the Stars live band on the beachfront Great Lawn (foot of Atlantic Blvd at the ocean) 3rd Friday: Food trucks with live band across from the pier. 4th Friday: Movie Night at the public beach on the Great Lawn.
