Story Update on 3/26/20: Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the Oct. 1 “Real ID” program deadline for U.S. air travelers has been postponed until after the pandemic subsides and airline operations return to normal. The new airport security ID program is delayed during a time when “social distancing” is encouraged, and most local Department of Motor Vehicles offices that would provide the updated government-issued driver licenses and IDs are closed. (7-21-18) There’s always a FREE early evening family-friendly festival each Friday: 1st Friday of each month 6-10pm: Pompano Untapped in Old Town with free samples from our many craft breweries, live band and local artist booths. (NE corner of Atlantic Blvd and Dixie Hwy). 2nd Friday: Music Under the Stars live band on the beachfront Great Lawn (foot of Atlantic Blvd at the ocean) 3rd Friday: Food trucks with live band across from the pier. 4th Friday: Movie Night at the public beach on the Great Lawn.

(7-21/18) Pompano Water Taxi service began in December, 2017 with two boats and eleven stops along the Intracoastal Waterway, with connecting service to Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi. Look for the Water Taxi archway at each stop near restaurants, parks and beaches. Pompano tickets for a "hop-on hop-off" all day adult pass is just $22.

(7-21-18) Come out to the beach Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for yoga on the Great Lawn (foot of Atlantic Blvd). It's free, but donations are welcome! And then enjoy a cool beverage at the concession stand, or take a yellow bicycle from the nearby stand using your credit card. Don't forget the free splash fountain for your little ones!

(7-22-18) Our 2018 surprise annual inspections by the Superior Small Lodging Association were completed in June, and we have been informed that all five of our properties once again will receive the prestigious White Glove Award. Also, thank you TripAdvisor and wonderful guests who gave us such great reviews.  We received TripAdvisor's 2017 Certificate of Excellence, and we also won the 2017 Experts' Choice Award given by travel writers for top write-ups in publications like Fodor's and Lonely Planet. This award puts us in the top 2-percent of lodgings worldwide!
